I think we are following Maya Jane Coles music since her breakthrough with ‘What They Say’ and the quality of her productions kept constantly rising since then. She is an excellent role-model to all aspiring producers out there, no, probably to all people who claim they are producers but fall by the wayside after one or two ‘successful’ records. Especially in the digital age when the ability to make music became faster, it is doubtful why this more often happens.
However, it’s time to present you Maya Jane Coles latest EP called Don’t Put Me In Your Box featuring four tracks, showing all sides of Maya. Get your copy of the 12” here (artwork is by her too) and watch out for her album coming in 2012!
