
A very good friend of mine sent me a mail with these new edits of Nicolas Jaar. I started to remember, when I first got in touch with the beautiful music of Nicolas Jaar and searched for “Nicolas Jaar” in our Blog. And I found three Tracks of him since January this year, in our monthly charts. I realized that it was time to dedicate a post to Nicolas Jaar.
He was born in New York and raised up in Chile and at the age of 11, he went back to New York. He started composing Piano-Based Tracks until he discovered Electronic Music.
At the age of 17, he sent his track called ‘Student’ to the Label Wolf + Lamb and they were fascinated of his music. I have to admit that I love all his tunes and I feel like I could get never enough! I read somewhere that he mentioned Erik Satie & Mulatu Astatke as his influences. Wonderful.
